Two years people… two freaking years… That’s how long we’ve been trying to get an interview with Sam Dunn director of Metal: A Headbanger’s Journey and Global Metal. It grew to the point where it became a bit of an ongoing story line with the show… Well, more of an ongoing gag where every six months we would try to get an interview and we would get rejected…. Well my friends, that storyline came to an end this past week as Dan and I had a sit down interview with Sam and his co-director Scott McFadyen
The interview however is NOT in this podcast, one of the other discussions on this week show about our new website iConnotations.com which will now be where we post our interviews. We decided that this show is going to remain four guys making fun of each other while the new one will be for the more serious stuff. We will however deal with the behind the scenes stuff here, the goofy stories around said interviews because like this one, they are frigging hysterical. This week we deal with the events surrounding the interview and absolutely tool on poor Dan for a good portion of the show.

Ohhh and now a sad note.. ye ole encoder machine fucked up our normal version of the show, which means all I have is the BTR version of the show…. damn it…. not as good quality, but I guess you still get the important stuff…. sigh.. some shit never changes

Well it was a holiday here in Canadialand yesterday so there was no new RoR… It’s alright though people, don’t cry… Seriously I know you may think your life will come to an end because of it, but as with all wounds time will heal it and you will realize that this RoR-less Tuesday made you stronger. I do however have for you a new Worst of, this time featuring DAN!! Yes you can now relive those great RoR moments like Dans first appearance on the show, or Dan and Dr Rough Hands, or who could forget Dan’s wife calling in to tell him no more sex talk. All this and so much more! So don’t forget to order today and we’ll throw in a free virtual ginsu knife so that you too can slit your wrists while reading my drivel, which I’ll stop now so that you can move onto listening to….. The Worst of Dan on RoR…. ohhh and listen next week… Dan and I have been up to something very interesting the last two weeks and all will be revealed on next weeks show.

OK so I’m gonna preface this by saying, if you wanna pass on this episode, I’m not gonna hold it against you….really…. I also want to thank Megan Fox for those pictures, actually I don’t want to thank her… I want to curse her… First of all, what the fuck is she wearing Pastie’s for?!?!?! And second of all… Megan.. Sheer panties… landing strip… you fucking KNOW there’s a bunch of creeps in a basement somehere licking their monitors after seeing those pix instead of doing a friggin radio show right??!?!?!? Ugh… obviously some Megan Fox discussion on the show… Dan and Rob reminisce about Rob’s old house on a big farm and the debauchery that went on there… Yes… seriously it was a real pig farm… And then they discuss a “very big event” for the show… wonder what that is all about…. sounds serious…

So we had a good night last night, on the table for discussion was the fallout from last weeks interview with Chaunce Hayden pertaining to the ONA guys. We discussed the retraction in the Post. Dan brought up the fact that he might of been reprogrammed from going to a Ministry concert, of course we HAD to discuss Mischa Bartons ass in great detail and of course there was the matter of an interview to do with the producers of the Thrash Metal documentary Get Trashed, Rick Ernst and Thrash Metal legend Rat Skates. Two really great guys that made for what we thought was a really interesting discussion about the thrash metal scene, getting a movie made these days and music in general. They had a lot to say and it is well worth listening to, so with that being said:
